About Me Hi everyone I am Malkeet Singh! (not the bhangra singer). I am not very good at self reflection, but I'll give it a shot. Friends have told me that I'm a laid back, friendly, confident and funny guy. But personally I believe I’m just an average John Doe. I am very lucky and blessed to have an amazing circle of family and friends who have helped me a lot in my life to achieve what i have. And i try to have a positive impact on everyone i meet and know....if you spread love then only flowers will blossom in your life. |

How did I get into poetry? About 2 years ago I literally just picked up a pen one day and started writing poetry. And to my amazement they were actually quite good. Initially I wrote love poems, however gradually I began writing Sikhi poems. And now all I write is Sikhi poems. |

Where do I get my inspiration from? All of the poems I write are just my way of expressing all of my emotions and feelings inside. Some people express themselves through music, others through art. I use poetry. Sikhi ignites such strong emotions within me that if i sit and think and feel about our great history and religion, the poems just flow out of me. I also often listen to kirtan whilst I write a poem. |

My message to the Sikh youth Don't waste your life, because we don’t know how many breaths we have left. Do all your nitnem, simran, seva and try to think of god as much as you can in your life. |
